Project “remotus”
Remote Sensing For Mining Exploration
Developments in aerial imaging, along with the innovations in drone technology, improved and enhanced surveying techniques, geological prospecting, target areas. These emerging technologies enable startups to develop innovative exploration solutions and minimize risks such as involving a human workforce to access dangerous and unstable terrain.

Project “inveniet”
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) based Exploration and Site Targeting
Mineral exploration involves a substantial workforce for sample gathering and exploratory digging. With the rapid developments and significant innovations in technology, automated drilling rigs eliminate the need for labor and improves productivity. This consequently drives emerging companies to develop automation solutions for improving worker safety in mineral exploration operations.
Project “inveniet” is developing AI-based algorithms and models that significantly improve mining exploration. With the support of machine learning methods, the “Inventiet” team is building technology to identify mineral deposits in undeveloped locations. Coupled with the advanced collection methods powered by drones collecting geophysical data, there is a high Return on Investment (ROI) based on the low cost of implementation and a high return on effort.

Project “doctina”
Deep Learning Systems For Mining Exploration
“Greenfield” exploration involves considerable amounts of risk in the form of upfront investments. This risk is not the same with “brownfield” exploration. Grassroots exploration, including data on environmental effects, enables mining companies to evaluate the risks and potential impact accurately. As a result, startups develop exploration solutions that factor in the ecological cost of mining operations as well. The “doctina” team utilizes remote sensing data streams and Deep Learning (DL) algorithms to assist in mining exploration and potential environment impacts.
As a side project with “doctina” there is currently under development an image analysis platform that is used to aid in categorizing and segmenting geological imagery, topographical data, and video streams. As a result of Project “doctina” and the automation it brings to the field teams, the geologists, geographers, and ecologists get to spend more time interpreting the results rather than working with the data.

Project “exemplum”
Exploration Modelling
Identification of potential mineral deposits using traditional methods requires detailed discussion and consultation with numerous specialists for analyzing many data types, such as geospatial, drone imaginary, core samples, geographical formation, etc.
Furthermore, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) developments have reduced the labor force prerequisite for performing complex data analysis and enabled efficient exploitation of resources, both human and physical.
Project “exemplum” is creating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models that are the basis for advanced mining exploration simulations by combining geological, geographical, and geophysical data. Moreover, the Machine Learning developments are enabling the team to generate mineral deposit leads and enable hot spots for exploration.
